How do I listen to a podcast that isn't featured in the iNetRadio directory?
That's such a good idea that we're working on it. There are a lot of variations on how podcasts are posted on sites and how often they are updated. Most people don't want to get into that, but when we have an easy way to make it work, we will let everyone know. Then you'll be able to listen to your favorite music *and* your favorite podcasts together! Very cool.

Why can't anyone else see the podcasts I add?
iNetRadio users can add as many podcasts as they like to their own menus in order to fully customize their iNetRadio experience. These added podcasts don't automatically appear on everyone's menus because there would end up being thousands of podcasts and that would make searching more complicated. We are always looking for new content with a broad appeal to add and we welcome suggestions from iNetRadio users.

How do I add a podcast so that I can hear it on iNetRadio?
You can add virtually any podcast to iNetRadio for convenient playback along with your favorite music and other programs. All you need is the XML or RSS link to the podcast, which is usually posted on the podcast site. Look for references such as "podcast feed" or "subscribe link". Any link that is intended to be put into the "feed field" of a podcast player should work. The link is merely an internet address to the podcast information, so it should begin with "http://..." and end with either ".xml" or ".rss". Some aren't as obvious and have to be extracted from feeds designed for other podcast players. You might see a feed link like http://www.something.com/add?feedurl=http://www.thelinkyouwant.com/podcast.xml The address in the second part after "?feedurl=" is what you want.
Once you have the link, you can add it to the iNetRadio player as either a News, Sports, Talk, or More podcast. The "More" category are shorter podcasts, usually under three minutes, that might include health tips, horoscopes, advice of the day, etc. The "Talk" category are longer podcasts that might include several segments and run an hour or more. Click the News, Sports, Talk, or More button on the iNetRadio player then select Add New from the menu at the top. Paste the feed link of the podcast you want to hear in the box, then click the TEST XML button. If you don't get any red lights, click the SAVE button under the podcast image. If the link you entered doesn't pass the tests, email us at iNetRadio and we'll look into the problem.
I host a podcast. How do I feature it on iNetRadio so that everyone can hear it?
iNetRadio encourages hosts to submit their podcasts to be included in our program offerings. The first step, if you haven't done it already, is to follow the instructions above for adding a podcast so that you can hear it. If you want to have it listed in our directory for everyone to hear, email us at contact@inetradio.com.
How can I download music so that I can listen without an internet connection?
Did you say "download music"? We don't say that at iNetRadio, although we are working on a system to download Service Elements so you can hear them off-line. The downside is that they won't get updated until you connect again.
Why does the iNetRadio player sometimes skip over a newscast or other service element?
Service Elements such as news, weather, sports, talk, and other programs are created by professionals in their respective fields. However, technical issues can occur that are beyond anyone's control and that can cause them to be skipped. This doesn't happen often and it usually resolves in a short time. Let us know if one seems to have regular problems.
Why are some of my selected service elements (News, Weather, Sports, etc) louder or softer than others?
Not all content providers use the same recording levels, so the volumes can vary. iNetRadio makes these feeds available to our listeners exactly as they come from the creators, so you are hearing the differences between the providers. We are, however, always happy to work with our content providers in providing a consistent sound.
What's the coolest feature of iNetRadio?
We put a lot of useful features into iNetRadio since we use the vast technical capabilities of the internet to create the ultimate radio experience. One of our favorites is the ability for users to instantly hear their favorite news, weather, sports, and other service elements no matter what music they have selected. Even as you surf around, the News, Sports, Weather, Features, and Programs preset buttons on the iNetRadio player will give you instant access to the podcasts you have visited. If you don't like any of them, simply delete them. iNetRadio lets you hear what you want when you want it, no matter how much musical exploring you do!
Are there plans to add new channels?
Our goal is to have enough channels so that anyone can find music they like. The iNetRadio channels are built from numerous genres, and these are constantly being expanded. The public iNetRadio user channel collection grows with each new user!
How do I make suggestions for music or news features?
Hearing from you is our favorite part! Some of the best ideas have come from suggestions from users. Use the Contact Us link at the bottom of each page on the iNetRadio website or in the Settings Menu of our mobile Apps and let us know about your idea!
Which is better: Baileys Irish Cream or Cask & Cream?
This depends largely on your taste. On the rocks, you can tell the difference, and if it matters, go with the one you prefer. The difference may be more subtle in a mixed drink. Cask is about half the price of Baileys, so if you're adding one to your coffee, consider the grade of your coffee.
Why do I have to be 18 or older to be an iNetRadio user?
Users under 18 wouldn't get our humor
How is iNetRadio funded?
The iNetRadio project receives funding through diversified revenue streams that include franchised neighborhood lemonade stands, bake sales, hedging bets on hurricane yop wind speeds, and the sale of overvalued swamp land in Florida to the Gator Lakes Estates development company, which subsequently went bankrupt. Better them than us.
